This cafe is the perfect place to study and do school/business work. The employees are very polite and well mannered. The set up is very home-like style which makes you feel comfortable. Now, I am not a coffee person so I can not say how well they brew theirs, but I must say their homemade orange juice is the BEST accompanied with a nice and toasty bagel.

UPDATE: something happened new owner maybe? Well i no longer enjoy coming here. A couple times the woman has messed up my order or given me something totally different and wirhout any shame says "just try it, you like" Well okay, exams are stressful enough I dont have the energy to stress out about food orders. Terrible
Located across the street from Los Angeles City College this the most convenient place to get coffee. During finals and winter sessions this place becomes as essential as a student ID card.
The ladies who work here are gentle and have a sense of urgency, remember they do go get busy at times and they do care about getting you out on time.
There is a TV that plays the KTLA morning show which is a plus, specially because there is nothing better than a little Henri Di Carlo giving you the weather with your coffee.
The food is always fresh and delicious. Man they put avocado on anything if you ask.
I recommend the number 11 for breakfast or early lunch, if you chose to hangout, you can self serve yourself some coffee. Awesome place to meet your study group, but there a purchase minimum.
The place is also clean and smells, just like a coffee shop should smell; coffee
Overall I highly recommends is place ss -

Great place to stop by for a quick snack or meal. They offer juices, smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, and rolled/wrapped sandwiches. The waiting time is not that long, maybe 5 - 10 min. Friendly customer service. The only downside is that they have limited seats available. I think they only had like 3 tables inside.

SLOW SERVICE AND TENDS TO FORGOT ORDERS!
I ordered a #5 sandwhich for my breakfast. I ordered around 7:25 and 20 minutes later, they made my sandwhich when I told them that I am waiting for it. They forgot to make my sandwhich. They have a sign that the making time of each item is different but this is too much. I lost my patience when I felt that I'm gonna be late for my class at 8 am. It's definitely not a good experience. Eat at your own risk!
